About the Artwork:
The athletic free style jump portrays the lonely fall of Ana, where she has nothing to hold on to. Her arm is reaching up and out but there is no one on the other side to help and to catch her. The shadow on her face caused by her arm can show how Ana was "hiding from the sun light". The tense body and the motion of the bended legs can almost predict a next motion of her folding to a fetus position, reflecting Ana in her venerable time. On the other side, the athletic image conveys that finally there was someone to come and catch Ana. The other athlete, coming from above, represents "Hafuch" as a higher place that Ana could reach for and Rise Up. "Hafuch" was pulling her up, higher, with all their strength as the tense muscles of the athlete are in the picture. They did not let her go, and more than that – pulled her up. The woman athlete body language now shows more confidence open and stretched, ready to grow taller and go higher. Her feet and toes are pointing in a jump upwards position, like Ana's future. Rising up.
